TakeHomeLab (“we,” “us,” “our”) operates a free educational website of static calculators and guides for US freelancers and contractors. This Privacy Policy explains what information may be collected when you visit takehomelab and how we treat it.
No accounts
TakeHomeLab does not offer user accounts, member logins, or stored profiles. You do not need to create an account to use our tools or read our guides.
Calculators and local use
Our money calculators run in your browser with client-side JavaScript. Values you type into a calculator are used locally to produce educational estimates. Those inputs are not sent to our servers as part of the calculation itself. If you clear your browser data or leave the page, we do not retain those calculator inputs.
Information we may receive
- Contact email: If you email us (for example at contact@takehomelab.app), we receive whatever you choose to include so we can respond.
- Technical / server logs: Like most websites, hosting or CDN providers may automatically record standard request data such as IP address, browser type, referring URL, and timestamps for security and reliability.
